The Jakarta government and Bank Jakarta have secured prestigious awards at Cita Loka Fest 2026, hosted by Tribun Network in Jakarta.

These accolades serve as a testament to their groundbreaking innovations and steadfast commitment to sustainable regional development, community empowerment, and economic resilience through digital transformation.

Bank Jakarta is committed to bolstering its position as a strategic partner for MSMEs

Jakarta has been crowned the 'Best Region for Building Listening Governance,' a feat achieved through the city’s Jakarta Smart City initiative. Governor Pramono Anung was present to personally receive the prestigious accolade.

In the same event, Bank Jakarta bagged the 'MSME Digital Empowerment Catalyst' award. The honor highlights its dedication to boosting local small businesses via the Jakpreneur ecosystem and long-term digital innovation.

This award reflects Bank Jakarta's active role in expanding financial access, enhancing financial literacy, and driving the adoption of digital technology among entrepreneurs.

The awards received appreciation from Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H Widodo.

He stated that the award fuels the bank’s motivation to keep providing cutting-edge banking solutions and services for MSME entrepreneurs.

"Bank Jakarta is committed to bolstering its position as a strategic partner for MSMEs. By leveraging diverse financing products, digital banking, and strategic collaborations, we aim to build a business ecosystem that is both inclusive and highly competitive," he explained, Friday (6/26).

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, stated that the awards received by the Jakarta government and Bank Jakarta demonstrate a powerful synergy in driving sustainable regional development.

Bank Jakarta is committed to fueling digital transformation and empowering local enterprises for sustainable growth, aiming to boost the regional and national economic landscape.

"This award further reinforces our commitment to expanding financial access for MSMEs and accelerating the adoption of digital technology to sharpen their competitive edge," he explained.

Notably, Bank Jakarta saw its MSME lending surge to Rp 10.46 trillion by the end of Q1 2026, marking an impressive 26.27% year-on-year increase (unaudited). This portfolio includes 2,208 debtors who are part of the city’s Jakpreneur entrepreneurial ecosystem.

"This milestone reflects our real support for MSMEs—the engine of regional growth—and our mission to establish Jakarta as an inclusive, competitive, and globally recognized city," he added.

Cita Loka Fest 2026 serves as a nationwide collaborative platform revolving around the theme 'Strengthening Roots for a Vibrant Indonesia.' This multi-stakeholder forum unites the Home Ministry and regional governments with global bodies like UNICEF, UNDP, and WHO. The event also facilitates a synergy between NGOs, universities, communities, and MSMEs, as well as national companies across diverse industries.

Earlier, Pramono Anung stressed that Jakarta's progress isn't just about concrete and infrastructure—it is fundamentally about the government’s ability to hear the voices of its people.

"For me, if Jakarta is to be advanced, safe, and comfortable, the most important thing—alongside infrastructure—is listening to the aspirations of our people. Development is not merely about physical construction," he asserted.
