The Blue Troops of the Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit of Cakung District, East Jakarta, carried out revitalization of the water channel on Jalan Perdana, RT 08/12, Cakung Timur Urban Village.

Head of Cakung District's SDA Unit, Dian Nur Cahyono said the channel revitalization is carried out along 60 meters using a 60x60x120 centimeter U-ditch equipped with a concrete cover slab.

"Work began on June 14, 2026, with the deployment of 10 Blue Troop personnel," he said, Wednesday (6/24).

Work is targeted for completion in early July. Now the progress has reached approximately 55 percent.

According to him, to speed up the work process, a crane was also deployed to facilitate the installation of the U-ditch.

Meanwhile, a member of LMK RW 12, Cakung Timur, Widodo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the ranks of the Cakung District SDA Implementation Unit who had followed up on residents' aspirations.

"Hopefully, after the work is completed, there will be no more concerns from residents regarding flooding during the rainy season," he hoped.
