The integrated infrastructure of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS)-Ancol complex has received a positive response from the public. The activation of the JIS Commuter Line Station, the inauguration of the Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) with BTN, and the opening of the Ancol-JIS Gate are considered to improve connectivity while providing convenience, comfort, and security for visitors.
Tanjung Priok resident and member of The Jakmania, Anggie (35), said she was enthusiastic about witnessing the inauguration of the facility. The presence of the station and pedestrian bridge will greatly facilitate residents' mobility, especially during football matches and large-scale concerts at JIS.
easier access
"We've been greatly helped by the easier access. We no longer have to get stuck in traffic jams. Furthermore, this facility is safer, especially for me, who brings small children," she said, Monday (6/22).
Anggie even took her son to try out the new facilities firsthand. She believes the pedestrian bridge and station area have been well-designed, making them comfortable and welcoming for pedestrians, including children.
"It feels very comfortable. I hope that in the future, this facility will remain clean and that the KRL schedule will be more extensive during major events," she hoped.
Pademangan resident Galang (25) expressed similar appreciation. He said that integrated public transportation access to the stadium would make it easier for supporters to get to JIS without having to rely on private vehicles.
"It's great and makes it easier for fans to watch Persija at JIS. With integrated public transportation, we no longer need to bring our own vehicles," he said.
The new facility has also attracted the attention of the younger generation. Raivan Hardija (15), a student at SMPN 280 Jakarta, came by commuter train and got off at JIS Station to witness the facility's inauguration.
"I came here on purpose to see the inauguration of the station and bridge. I also planned to tour JIS. I'm so grateful for this facility, as it makes getting here much more convenient," he admitted.
