Students at State Senior High School 15 Jakarta were given mental health education organized by the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta.
The Chairwoman of the TP PKK Sunter Agung Urban Village, Sarasah Nirmanasari, said that this activity aims to increase teenagers' understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health amidst the various challenges facing the younger generation today.

"Our theme this time is mental health for adolescents. This material is tailored to the needs of today's young generation, as mental health issues are crucial to understand," she said, Thursday (6/18).
The Sunter Agung Urban Village TP PKK collaborated with Hermina Hospital as a resource person to provide comprehensive material.
"We collaborate with experts from Hermina Hospital to ensure that students here gain a proper understanding of mental health," she added.
The principal of SMAN 15 Jakarta, Retno Widiastuti, expressed her appreciation for the program. The 50 students who participated in the education were selected from grades 10 and 11.
"Schools have also routinely provided education related to various youth issues, such as the dangers of narcotics, bullying prevention, and reproductive health," she stated.
Meanwhile, Fikri Maulana (15), a student at SMAN 15, admitted to gaining a lot of new knowledge from the activity. This included a better understanding of the difference between stress commonly experienced by students and symptoms of depression that require further attention.
"I learned how to recognize mental health conditions, manage stress, and the importance of talking to the right people when facing problems. I will share this knowledge with my friends at school and at home," he admitted.
