"We highly appreciate this decorated vehicle parade because it creates a religious atmosphere while also delivering positive impacts for the community," he said on Tuesday (6/16).
Munjirin explained that the event helped stimulate the local economy by providing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with opportunities to promote and sell their products.
He added that creatively packaged Islamic New Year celebrations like this provide valuable experiences for students and local children while strengthening community solidarity.
Meanwhile, Al Hamid Islamic Boarding School founder KH Lukman Hakim Hamid said the decorated vehicle parade has become an annual tradition to welcome the Islamic New Year.

"Today, around 125 decorated four-wheeled vehicles joined the parade, not including the motorcycles accompanying the procession. We hope this event inspires renewed enthusiasm among students and the community in welcoming the 1448 Hijri Islamic New Year," he noted.
He added that participants with the most creative and attractive vehicle decorations would receive prizes ranging from cash rewards to household appliances. Various door prizes were also prepared by the organizers.
