West Jakarta Administration will hold the Glodok Chinatown Night Culinary event along Jalan Pancoran, Glodok Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, on Saturday (6/20).
The event will take place from 2 PM until about 11 PM
Taman Sari Sub-district Head Simson Hutagalung explained that the event, which is part of Jakarta's 499th anniversary celebrations, will also feature a variety of attractions.
He detailed that the event will showcase 60 MSMEs offering Glodok and Betawi culinary specialties. Alongside local street food vendors, the administration has also opened slots for entrepreneurs fostered by the West Jakarta MSME Sub-agency and selected Jakpreneur participants from several urban villages.
"A total of 60 MSMEs will be accommodated in tents set up along the northern side of Jalan Pancoran," he said on Monday (6/15).
Simson said the administration is working with corporate social responsibility (CSR) partners to provide tables and chairs along the sidewalk for visitors attending the night culinary event.
According to him, visitors can enjoy a variety of halal and non-halal dishes, with cashless transactions supported through a QRIS payment system provided by Bank Jakarta.
"The event will take place from 2 PM until about 11 PM, and traffic diversions will be in effect in the surrounding area," he noted.
