Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency cooperated with Water Resources Sub-agency to complete the collapsed road repair on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto and Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Menteng, May 9.

Head of Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency, M Soleh said, there are two points where the road collapsed due to damage to the water channel crossing on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto.

"We are carrying out crossing repairs and re-asphalting on the collapsed road measuring 2.7 meters x 1.8 meters," he said, Monday (6/8).

Meanwhile, on Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Soleh added, the small road collapsed due to a leak in the PAM Jaya pipe utility.

"After repairing the leaking pipe in one day, we immediately started paving the collapsed road on Jalan Wahid Hasyim," he added.

According to him, the yellow troops in eight districts routinely monitor all protocol roads every day to ensure no collapsed roads.

"We went around to ensure that no main roads had collapsed in the eight districts of Central Jakarta. If any were found, they were immediately inspected and repaired, as they could potentially cause accidents," he explained.
