The Blue Troop of the Seribu Islands Water Resources Sub-agency completed the embankment maintenance work on Pramuka Island and Karya Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Island District.
Head Section of Beach for the Sub-agency, Wahyu Maulana said maintenance was carried out at two locations, namely the Outer Ring Road on the west side of Pramuka Island and the east side of Cikaya Beach, Karya Island.

Maintenance was carried out by re-plastering the walls and floors of the embankment that are starting to become damaged or cracked using a mixture of cement and sand.
"This is run to maintain the function of coastal infrastructure while strengthening the protection of the island from the threat of abrasion and sea waves," he said, Monday (6/8).
He added that after the repair process was completed, officers continued the work by repainting each 30 meter long embankment.
The maintenance of the embankment involving seven Blue Troop personnel began on June 4, 2026, and all work has now been completed.
"Coastal infrastructure maintenance is a routine activity," he added.
Meanwhile, Head of RW 05, Panggang Island Urban Village, Sairan appreciated the quick response of the officers in handling the embankment maintenance.
According to him, a well-maintained embankment is very important to support the safety and comfort of residents and tourists visiting the Seribu Islands.
"We also invite residents to work together to maintain public facilities that have been repaired," he admitted.
