Jakarta City Council (DPRD) Chairman Khoirudin congratulated the Jakarta Provincial Government for once again maintaining an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on its regional financial statements, making the ninth consecutive year it has received the highest audit opinion from BPK.
This is the ninth consecutive time Jakarta has earned the opinion
According to Khoirudin, the highest audit rating issued by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) demonstrates that the city's financial management has been carried out transparently and accountably.
“This is the ninth consecutive time Jakarta has earned the opinion. I hope this achievement will contribute to improving public welfare,” he noted on Friday (6/5).
According to Khoirudin, BPK's audit findings have helped the DPRD carry out its oversight role more effectively. He added that the council will continue to encourage the follow-up of all recommendations issued by BPK.
“And this will certainly have a positive impact on Jakarta residents,” he added.
He also explained that the council has established a Special Committee on the Acceleration of Social and Public Facilities Handover to follow up on one of BPK's recommendations that remains a key concern.
“We must continue to oversee the handover of social and public facilities as part of developers' obligations to the Jakarta Provincial Government, so they can ultimately be utilized for the benefit of Jakarta residents,” he emphasized.
For reference, the Jakarta Provincial Government maintained its Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on the 2025 fiscal year financial statements. The administration has now received the designation for nine consecutive years, with an 85.44 percent completion rate for follow-up actions on BPK recommendations, exceeding the national target of 75 percent.
