The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency is once again participating in the Jakarta Future Festival (JFF) 2026, taking place at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, from June 5-7, 2026.
To ensure that local businesses can benefit from every urban development agenda
Through its Jakpreneur program, the agency has brought together 32 food and beverage (F&B) MSMEs to showcase their products at the TIM Theater Building promenade.
Jakarta Future Festival is a collaborative event initiated by the Jakarta Provincial Government through the Jakarta Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), together with various partners and collaborators.
The festival serves as a platform for gathering public aspirations, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and exploring the future direction of Jakarta's development.
Through JFF 2026, the PPKUKM Agency is seeking to broaden market opportunities for Jakpreneurs or assisted MSMEs. This year, it is supporting culinary-sector participants, while non-culinary tenants are being facilitated by the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency.
Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, said the participation of Jakpreneurs in Jakarta Future Festival reflects the agency's commitment to providing broader promotional and marketing opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
She noted that Jakarta Future Festival is not only a forum for discussions about the city's future, but also a collaborative space that creates economic opportunities for residents.
“Through the participation of 32 Jakpreneur tenants in this festival, we want to ensure that local businesses can benefit from every urban development agenda, gain wider market access, and strengthen the competitiveness of their products as Jakarta continues to develop into a global city,” Ratu said on Friday (6/5).
Ratu added that her agency will continue to encourage MSME participation in strategic events at the regional, national, and international levels as part of efforts to foster entrepreneurship and strengthen business capacity.
“Through active participation in Jakarta Future Festival 2026, we hope that Jakpreneur MSME products will become more widely recognized, increase sales transactions, and reinforce the role of MSMEs as one of the key drivers of Jakarta's economy,” she emphasized.
For reference, during its three-day run, JFF 2026 features around 50 discussion sessions and talk shows involving more than 500 speakers from diverse backgrounds, over 25 art and music performances, and a creative bazaar showcasing products from local businesses.
