PAM Jaya is preparing mitigation measures to reduce the impact of temporary disruptions to water supply to 45 urban villages due to maintenance of PLN's electrical substation that supplies energy to the Pejompongan I Water Treatment Plant (IPA) on June 5-6, 2026.

In addition to optimizing the distribution network, PAM Jaya also provides emergency service assistance for customers who need water supplies during the maintenance and recovery process.

provide assistance

PAM Jaya Operations Director, Syahrul Hasan, said the company has prepared around 70 tanker trucks ready to serve all affected areas free of charge.

This assistance is prioritized for urgent needs of the community and public service facilities that require a clean water supply.

"We have approximately 70 tanker trucks ready to provide assistance to PAM Jaya customers in all affected areas free of charge," he said, Thursday (6/4).

Syahrul explained that each tanker has a capacity of 4,000 liters of water, which can be used to meet customer needs during distribution disruptions.

He stated that information regarding the maintenance work will be communicated openly so that customers in affected areas can take early precautions, including preparing water reserves for daily needs.

This information will be disseminated through various communication channels, including mass media and PAM Jaya's official social media channels.

"The goal is to allow customers to prepare a water reservoir or reserve when the installation is shut down. This water reservoir can then be used during the work period," he added.

PAM Jaya also ensures that customer service via the 1500 223 call center remains operational 24 hours a day to receive reports, complaints, and requests for assistance with tankers from the public.

"We have a call center at 1500 223 open 24 hours as usual to receive complaints and requests for tank trucks," he continued.

PAM Jaya hopes that PLN's substation maintenance work can proceed according to schedule so that the process of restoring water distribution to customers can take place more quickly.
