As many as 30 joint personnel conducted arrangement at Becek Market, Jalan Teratai Putih, Malaka Sari Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. This activity is part of the Orderly Wednesday program.

Acting Head of the Duren Sawit District Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), Teten Tanjani, stated that the operation was carried out due to the chaotic conditions at the location. Many street vendors were taking to the streets, causing traffic jams.

"We deployed 30 Satpol PP personnel from urban village and district," he said.

Teten explained that 15 street vendors were given warnings to be able to carry out their business activities without violating Regional Regulation 8 of 2007 about Public Order.

"I ask traders to be orderly so that mutual comfort can be maintained," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the online motorcycle taxi drivers, Ahmad, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the enforcement.

"I hope that security be intensified so that these street vendors do not commit violations again," he hoped.
