"Therefore, we hope that amidst the various issues that are challenging the city of Jakarta and the world today, this strength can be one that builds resilience in society," she said, Wednesday (6/3).
As in previous years, this year's JFF will present discussion events packaged in two programs, namely Jakarta Forecast and Urban Talks.
The Jakarta Forecast program will discuss Jakarta's future potential and challenges, while the Urban Talks program will delve into the urban challenges facing Jakarta in the future.
JFF 2026 will also feature a dedicated space for children through JFF for Kids. This program aims to provide a dedicated and engaging educational space for children, the future generation of Jakarta, so they can become familiar with urban issues from an early age.
"Because we know that the future is not only owned by young people but also from childhood," she added.
Moreover, visitors can also interact directly with 30 communities involved in this event, such as the reading community, Betawi dance, and others.
Atika explained the Urban Policy Lab will also be part of this year's JFF festival. In collaboration with think tanks such as Think Policy and Habibie Innovators, JFF will formulate solutions to various urban issues.
In addition to serving as a discussion space, JFF 2026 will also feature a series of entertainment programs for attendees. The entertainment program will feature performances by Maliq & D'Essentials, Kahitna, and Yura Yunita.
"We hope that we can all celebrate the different atmosphere of the city planning festival this year with various activities that we have prepared for the people of Jakarta and all of them are free," she explained.
