Commission A of the Jakarta City Council has begun discussing the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) with mayors and partners. The discussions aim to align work programs and regional government budget planning.
meeting will continue on May 25
Secretary of Commission A of the Jakarta City Council, Mujiyono, said that a follow-up meeting would be held on May 25 to finalize discussions with 22 SKPD partners of Commission A.
"The RKPD meeting will continue on May 25 to complete the discussion of the 22 SKPDs that are partners of Commission A," he said.
Commission A emphasized the importance of accurate regional financial planning, particularly regarding cash flow from Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) and Regional Original Income (PAD).
According to Mujiyono, the City Budget is prepared based on the principle of a balanced balance sheet so that income and expenditure must be calculated precisely because it is still a projection or estimate.
"The regional budget is a cash flow statement, not something that has already happened, but rather an estimate. Therefore, it must be accurate," he added.
He emphasized that PAD estimates and balancing funds through DBH must not be far off because they are one of the indicators of the success of regional financial management.
Furthermore, Commission A also highlighted the follow-up mechanism for City Council members' recess results. Mujiyono assessed the need for a clearer and more measurable formulation so that public aspirations can be monitored accountably.
Qualified recess aspirations will be included into a database. These proposals will then be assessed based on budget availability and program implementation readiness.
"If the budget is available, it can be budgeted. Once the budget is available, it can or cannot be implemented," he admitted.
