The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts a mix of partly cloudy skies and light rain across Jakarta today.

"Rain is expected in the morning," stated the official BMKG website on Thursday (5/21).

By midday, partly cloudy conditions will prevail over most of Jakarta, including Seribu Islands, Central, North, West, and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, South Jakarta is likely to see light showers.

As the afternoon rolls in, Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta will remain partly cloudy, while overcast conditions are expected to settle over West, South, and East Jakarta.

Into the evening, cloudy skies will persist over Seribu Islands, Central, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the rest of the city—West, South, and East Jakarta—will see partly cloudy conditions.

Temperatures today are expected to range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels between 68 and 96 percent.
