make it easier for users to move between modes
To support the smooth running of work and the safety of road users, traffic engineering will be carried out on a number of road sections during the work.
The Head of the Data and Information Center of the Jakarta Public Works Agency, Siti Dinarwenny, said that the Jakarta Provincial Government ensures that all stages of construction are carried out according to safety standards and the established time targets.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during the work. We urge the public to adjust their travel times and comply with signs and instructions from officers in the field," he said, Wednesday (5/20).
The construction of the Latumeten Flyover aims, among other things, to eliminate the risk of accidents at railway crossings, speed up travel times for the public by separating vehicle flows and train travel, and encourage regional economic growth through more efficient accessibility.
"Of course, the existence of this flyover will also make it easier for users to move between modes of transportation with the TOD between Grogol Station and the Transjakarta or Jaklingko bus stops or other public transportation," he added.
The following is the traffic engineering on a number of road sections during the work:
1. Traffic Engineering on the West Side:
• Traffic from the South (Grogol flyover), from the East (Roxy) and from the West (Jalan Daan Mogot) towards the North for large vehicles is diverted via Jalan Daan Mogot-Jalan Pangeran Tubagus Angke.
• Meanwhile, small vehicles can pass through Jalan Hadiah-Jalan Hadiah 1-Jalan Hadiah 2-Jalan Prof Dr Latumeten Barat 3/can pass through Jalan Dr Susilo I-Jalan Dr. Muwardi I-Jalan Dr. Muwardi II-Jalan Dr Muwardi-Jalan Semeru and so on. Traffic from the North to the South can still pass.
2. Traffic Engineering on the East Side:
Traffic from North to South for large vehicles will be diverted to a U-turn at the roundabout before Season City-Jalan Prof Dr Latumeten-Jalan Pangeran Tubagus Angke-Jalan Daan Mogot/turn right at the Jembatan Dua intersection, while small vehicles can go via Jalan Semeru-Jalan Dr Muwardi-Jalan Dr Susilo 1 and so on/can go via Jalan Dr Semeru I.
"Public support and understanding are needed so that the construction of the Latumenten Flyover can run smoothly and immediately provide benefits to Jakarta residents," he stated.
As for information, the construction progress of the Latumenten Flyover has reached 41.28 percent as of mid-May 2026. This flyover is built with a west side length of 435 meters and an east side length of 426 meters with a flyover width of 11 meters.
