The Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, supports the plan of the Mayor of South Jakarta, M Anwar, to build a disability-friendly park in the Puring Park area, South Jakarta.

He immediately instructed his staff to prioritize the construction of this park.

"I agree with the proposal of the Mayor of South Jakarta, we will use Puring Park as a disabled park in South Jakarta," he said, Tuesday (5/19).

Pramono added that the park, which will include facilities for people with disabilities, will cover an area of ​​approximately 3,000 square meters. The Governor requested that the construction budget be allocated immediately so that work can begin promptly.

The park will be the first disability-friendly park in South Jakarta. Pramono hopes that this inclusive public space will benefit the community, especially people with disabilities.

South Jakarta Mayor, M Anwar previously announced his plan to build a park with disability-friendly facilities in the Puring Park area.

"If I'm allowed, I want to make a disability park, so that there will be one in South Jakarta," he admitted.
