Johar Baru Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) personnel in Central Jakarta cleared away sacrificial animal stalls located on the sidewalks of Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru and Jalan Johar Baru VI.

Johar Baru Urban Village Acting Head, Kurnia Jaya, stated that the operation was conducted in response to complaints from residents who felt disturbed by the presence of the animal stalls on the sidewalks.

"Those stalls on the sidewalks blocked pedestrian access," he expressed, Tuesday (5/19).

He also issued warning letters to sacrificial animal vendors along Jalan Percetakan Negara I and II, instructing them to immediately dismantle cages that were built on public facilities.

"We'll continue to intensify similar enforcement efforts to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the city," he concluded.
