Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung asserted that Jakarta is prepared to become a world-class sport tourism destination.

Pramono made this statement while flagging off the participants of the Digiland Run 2026 at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) on Sunday (5/17).

"Jakarta government is ready to support the organization of running events like the Digiland Run 2026," he expressed.

He hoped that the Digiland Run 2026, which carries the theme "The RACEvolution," will continue to be developed annually to reach international-scale status.

"Hopefully, this annual event will continue to be refined and elevated to the next level," he added.

Pramono also wished for all participants to enjoy the race with joy.

"Enjoy your run and enjoy Jakarta in the morning. I hope you become healthier, stronger, more comfortable, and happier," he said.

Notably, the Digiland Run 2026 featured Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K categories, attracting over 12,500 participants.

The event has been granted the World Athletics Label Road Race status, while the Half Marathon and 10K routes have also received the International Measurement Certificate from World Athletics and AIMS.

This year’s Digiland Run presented a "sportainment" festival experience, blending an international-standard running event with musical entertainment, 5G and AI technological innovations, and the empowerment of local MSMEs (UMKM).
