As many as 150 joint personnel, Wednesday (5/6), arranged the area of Angke Market, Jembatan Lima Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta.

The arrangement was carried out by controlling street vendors, cleaning the area, pruning trees that were prone to falling, collecting garbage in the Cibubur River and providing health services.

Head of Tambora District, Aji Swandanu said this integrated area planning is part of the Tampan program (Tambora Tertib Aman, Mandiri, Peduli, Hijauan, and Nyaman).

"We're focusing on arranging the Angke Market area. Although the assets belong to KAI, we're controlling street vendors so they don't take to the streets and disrupt traffic," he said.

Along Jalan Stasiun Angke, Pangestu explained, there are approximately 150 street vendors operating on land owned by PT KAI. Meanwhile, there are approximately 100 stalls run by local MSMEs along the road.

Arrangements were also made to the RW 07 Keluhan Jembatan Lima waste depot by arranging garbage carts and implementing scheduled transportation times.

"We also encourage depot managers and traders to start sorting waste to reduce the burden of waste disposal at the Bantar Gebang Landfill," he added.

Personnel also pruned five trees at risk of falling on Jalan Krendang Utara, as well as removing garbage from the Cibubur River and draining the drains along the road.

"We also provide health services to residential areas around Angke Market," he stated.

"Kami juga berikan layanan kesehatan ke permukiman warga di sekitar Pasar Angke," tandasnya.
