Head of Pademangan Urban Village, Sugiharjo Timbo said this controlling is a follow-up to the direction of the North Jakarta City Secretary who had previously issued an appeal to traders.

The implementation had begun the day before and continued today, involving elements of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), PPSU officers, and personnel from the Tanjung Priok District Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit.

"We involve 35 joint personnel," he said, Tuesday (5/5).

According to him, the enforcement was carried out in a persuasive and humane manner. Officers also provided socialization to vendors regarding the importance of complying with regulations on space use and maintaining environmental order.

"Traders are given an understanding so that in the future they can sell in locations that are appropriate for their intended use," he added.

According to him, the traders were also facilitated in the relocation process using a truck belonging to Water Resources to the Kemayoran area.

This activity is not only aimed at making the area more orderly and neat, but also to support the smooth dredging of the Cincin Reservoir connecting channel.

"This area will be arranged and tidied up. We also encourage all parties to comply with the regulations for the common good," he appealed.
