Joint personnel controlled 97 motorcycles parked on illegal areas on Jalan Panjang, Lapangan Bola and Jalan Kedoya Selatan, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

Head of Kebon Jeruk District Satpol PP, Pelita said the activity involved 45 joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation, army and police.

"The aim is to restore the function of sidewalks and roadside so that they are orderly, safe and comfortable," he said.

Pelita added that this activity was not only controlling illegal parking. Personnel also crack down on street vendors found selling on the roadside and sidewalks.

The party prioritizes a persuasive approach by providing education not to sell on sidewalks and roadsides.

"We urge them to comply with and follow the rules by returning the function of the sidewalk to pedestrians," he admitted.
