Head of Tambora District, Pangestu Aji Swandanu said the similar activity is also held every Wednesday.

"We're controlling sidewalk and street vendors, roads, water channels, public street lights, garbage, selling areas, and the health sector," he said.

During the activity, the personnel controlled illegal parking and street vendors that occupied roadside and sidewalk.

"If the environment is orderly and comfortable, consumers will be happy to shop here. But if not, they will not be coming back," he added.

Head of Roa Malaka Urban Village, Wendi Irmansyah said the personnel also cleaned the residential water channel.

"Our PPSU personnel cleaned the water channel to smooth the water flow during the rainy season," he admitted.
