Brawl prevention efforts in the Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, continue to be stepped up. The three pillars unit is intensifying nighttime patrols to reduce the potential for conflict, which frequently occurs in several vulnerable areas.

Head of Jatinegara Satpol PP, Teguh Nurdin Amali said his party and related elements have taken anticipatory steps.

involve various elements of society

According to him, joint patrols in vulnerable areas have been carried out from Friday to Sunday night.

"We are carrying out joint patrols in areas prone to brawls in the Jatinegara District area," he said.

However, he revealed, the perpetrators were suspected of having monitored the officers' movements before acting, thus managing to avoid the joint patrol.

"The three pillars also involve various elements of society such as Pokdarkamtibmas, Siskomas, Satlinmas, and other community components," he added.

Prevention efforts are also strengthened through the presence of five Jakarta Anti-Brawl Guard Posts spread across several locations, namely at Deprok Market (Cipinang Muara Urban Village); the Pump House and the urban village head's official residence in Cipinang Besar Utara Urban Village; Serong Bridge in Cipinang Besar Selatan Urban Village; and the Tongtek Post in Kampung Melayu Urban Village.

"The synergy between Satpol PP, Jatinegara Police, and Koramil along with the Babinsa ranks has been solid in anticipating and handling potential brawls," he added.
