Efforts to reduce traffic violations continue in South Jakarta. One example is the construction of a Tertib Lalu Lintas (Traffic Order) Park on Jalan Bendi Raya I, RT 03/10, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama District.
Head of Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Rika Laila said the park was built in response to residents' concerns about the increasing number of traffic violations, especially drivers going against the flow in the area.

"Previously, the empty land at this road intersection was often used by drivers to go against the flow, and even became a location for illegal parking of two-wheeled vehicles," he said, Wednesday (4/22).
Rika explained that the arrangement was carried out on a 45 square meter of land involving the Kebayoran Lama District Transportation Implementation Unit.
"Personnel also installed barriers and traffic signs and markings around the location so that no more drivers would go against the traffic flow," he explained.
He hopes that the park and the installed signs will increase driver awareness and encourage compliance with traffic regulations, thereby minimizing the potential for accidents.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Tubagus Ramadan (32) appreciated the effort because violations at that location occur quite frequently with many drivers breaking the rules.
"Hopefully drivers will become more aware of the importance of order and safety in traffic," he hoped.
