Jakarta Creative Hub (JCH) has reaffirmed its role as an incubation center for youth creativity and innovation by hosting the launch of Cyber Breaker 2026-Season 3 and the 'Cyber-Gig: Building Cyber Talent Ecosystem' training program.

Cyber Breaker is a cyber e-sports platform designed to hone Indonesia's digital talent through educational and competitive cybersecurity competitions.

Highly relevant to future industrial needs

Cyber Breaker has proven itself to be a magnet for Indonesian digital talent, as evidenced by its remarkable growth statistics. Season 1 saw 137 participants, while Season 2 surged to 616 participants, recording over 2.3 million digital views and involving more than 44 cyber/IT communities. For Season 3, the target is to reach 1,000 registrants with a more comprehensive and tiered competition format.

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Agency (PPKUKM), Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, stated that this initiative is a concrete manifestation of JCH’s commitment to supporting youth movements and providing a strategic platform for the next generation to synergize in the field of cybersecurity.

"As a collaboration space owned by the Jakarta government, Jakarta Creative Hub views Cyber Breaker not merely as a competition, but as a new growth trajectory that is highly relevant to future industrial needs," she expressed, Monday (4/20).

She stated that this training is part of the Gig-Economy training program ecosystem initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, in collaboration with several related ministries, as an effort to strengthen human resource capacity in facing the dynamics of the digital economy.

In this edition, the activity is being conducted by the Ministry of Creative Economy through a collaboration with Perisai, Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, and Jakarta Creative Hub, aiming to provide adaptive, collaborative, and relevant training.

This season, Cyber Breaker introduces the Cyber Breaker Development (CBD) structure, which covers Regional and National scales. The participants' journey will progress to the Promotion Day stage, culminating in the CBC League as part of the Cyber Breaker Competition (CBC) ecosystem.

According to Ratu, Jakarta Creative Hub is dedicated to serving as a meeting point where innovation and opportunity converge. She remarked, the launch signals a new era for young Indonesians to pursue cybersecurity careers in a creative and contemporary way.

She also reaffirmed that JCH will consistently act as a 'home' for initiatives that drive positive collaboration among the next generation.

"Supporting Cyber Breaker 2026 is an investment in our youth, ensuring they have the proper space to collaborate and advance to the next level within the global cyber arena," she concluded.
