10 semi-permanent buildings and street vendor stalls standing on the sidewalk and roadside along Jalan Garuda Gunung Sahari Selatan, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta were removed.

Head of Kemayoran District Satpol PP, Bronson Sitompul said semi-permanent buildings used for trading were dismantled by joint officers.

"The semi-permanent illegal buildings occupied the sidewalk. In addition to dismantling the illegal buildings, we also removed two street vendors' carts and three tarpaulins," he said.

He added that his party gave yellow cards to traders selling on the sidewalk along Jalan Garuda.

"They will undergo a minor crime trial on April 24," he added.

According to him, his party has issued an appeal to traders not to sell on the sidewalks along Jalan Garuda.

"We will conduct patrols so that traders do not return to taking over the sidewalks for selling," he continued.

His party will also cooperate with PLN to remove the electricity meters installed at street vendor stalls along Jalan Garuda.

"To cut off the electricity," he stated.
