Personnel from the Central Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency have pruned 3,035 hazardous trees in eight sub-districts between January and early April 2026.

According to Mila Ananda, Head of Central Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, the action responded to public feedback received via complaint channels and letters, in addition to routine field observations.

"This is a precautionary measure to prevent trees from toppling during heavy rain and high winds," she noted, Thursday (4/9).

The total consists of 521 light pruning, 1,749 medium, and 647 heavy, while 118 trees were completely cut down.

Ananda added that her team also addressed 37 instances of snapped limbs and 38 fallen trees during the same period
