Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin held an evening gathering with residents of the Kampung Bali Urban Village at a hotel in the Tanah Abang area. The activity provided a forum for residents to directly address the various environmental issues they face.

In the forum, residents expressed their aspirations, ranging from public street lighting (PJU), tree pruning, toilet and bathing facilities (MCK), parks, the existence of flea markets, to sidewalk issues and the circulation of dangerous drugs.

"In last night's forum, we not only listened, but also tried to resolve the problem in a tiered manner with optimal steps," he said, Wednesday (4/8).

The Head of RW 10, Kampung Bali Urban Village, Olan Rahadian, explained that the aspirations regarding the repair of street lights and poles that collapsed due to being hit by trees would be followed up immediately.

"Thank God, our requests were immediately responded to. The Mayor instructed that repairs be carried out today," he admitted.

Meanwhile, Kampung Bali Urban Village LMK Head, Yudi stated the forum held in the evening was very effective in accelerating the handling of problems in the field.

"The presence of the Mayor and regional officials ensures swift and concrete follow-up. Problems can be addressed immediately," he said.
