permit is not easy to obtain
Head of North Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency, Vicky Suryawan Jaya said Domestic Food Distribution Permit is one of the crucial requirements for processed food products to be marketed more widely and professionally.
"This Domestic Food Distribution Permit is not easy to obtain because it must go through various stages and meet the established standards," he said, Monday (4/6).
According to him, through this Technical Guidance, Jakpreneurs are equipped with a comprehensive understanding, starting from licensing procedures, administrative requirements, to food safety aspects.
"Hopefully, the UKM actors can move up and have complete legality so that they can compete in a wider market," he hoped.
Meanwhile, Head Section of Industry for the Sub-agency, Sri Damai Yanti, explained this activity is provided free of charge and lasts for three days, namely April 6, 7, and 9, 2026.
"This activity was held in synergy with the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM) in Jakarta," she explained.
Participants not only receive material related to the process of managing Domestic Food Distribution Permits, but also a technical understanding of the criteria for products that can be submitted.
"Through this understanding, we hope that SMEs will be able to fulfill all requirements and improve the quality of their products," she hoped.
