During the Easter 2026 long weekend, 119,652 people visited Ragunan Zoo (TMR).

This figure, recorded from Friday to Sunday, exceeded the management's target of 100,000 visitors, according to TMR PR Head Wahyudi Bambang

"The total number of visitors during the three-day long weekend reached around 119,652, surpassing our target," he stated, Tuesday (4/7).

He explained that based on the collected data, there were 29,592 visitors on Friday (3/4) during the Good Friday holiday.

On Saturday (4/4), visitor numbers climbed significantly to 36,900. The highest spike was recorded on Sunday (5/4), reaching a total of 53,160 tourists.

"There was a very significant jump in visitors, particularly on the last day of the break. The figures were nearly comparable to the Eid holiday period," he noted.

Furthermore, he mentioned that TMR has extended its hours until nighttime to cater to those looking to work out.

"A lot of people come here for jogging, so we’ve made sure to accommodate them," he added.

According to him, evening hours are scheduled from 5 PM to 10 PM between Tuesday and Friday, and from 6 PM to 9 PM on Saturdays.

"Evening visitors are directed to enter via the North Gate only. We also advise them to maintain order and keep the environment pleasant within the park," he added.
