The Cempaka Putih District apparatus, Central Jakarta, is intensifying efforts to eradicate dengue fever.

Head Section of Community Welfare for Cempaka Putih District, Tanwil M Saleh said to prevent the spread of dengue fever, his party routinely carries out fogging in residential areas.

"We are also actively conducting dengue fever prevention socialization and inviting residents to become independent mosquito larvae monitors in their respective areas," he said.

As a result, according to Tanwil, dengue fever cases in his region during the period from January to March 2026 decreased drastically compared to 2025.

During January to March 2026, there were 25 cases of dengue fever recorded in three urban villages, namely in Rawasari and West Cempaka Putih with eight cases each and in East Cempaka Putih with nine cases.

"This number is much lower than last year which reached 68 cases, with details in Rawasari Urban Village 40 cases, West Cempaka Putih 15 and East Cempaka Putih 13 cases," he explained.
