Seribu Island Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency held Ramadan bazaar and cheap market at Regency Plaza, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village.

Sub-agency's Head Section of MSME Trade, Sigit Dwiyanto said this bazaar aims to provide promotional space for SMEs to expand their market and increase sales.

"We want to help the SMEs we foster so that their products become better known to the public and are able to reach more customers," he said, Friday (3/6).

Sigit explained that this initiative is also one of the government's efforts to make it easier for people to obtain basic necessities at more affordable prices during Ramadan. This Ramadan Food Program also collaborates with PD Pasar Jaya.

"We provide various food needs and basic ingredients such as rice, Minyakita, granulated sugar, flour, milk, and a number of other commodities," he explained.

"We also hold competitions for children so that they can experience the joy of Ramadan and also enliven this bazaar," he said.

One of the fostered SMEs, Mumun (35), said she was grateful to be involved in the bazaar. She sold a variety of snacks for breaking the fast, ranging from fruit ice, meatballs, to various fried snacks.

"This activity really help us to sell and introduce our products to the public," she admitted.
