The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is forecasting a mix of moderate rain and overcast conditions across the capital today.

Commuters likely faced a damp start to the day as BMKG’s official site confirmed "rain in the morning" for Friday (3/6).

However, the precipitation is expected to taper off by the noon. Forecasters say cloudy skies will settle in across all administrative districts, including Seribu Islands, as well as Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta.

The gray skies are expected to stick around through the evening and overnight hours, with no significant clearing in sight for the metropolitan area.

Today's air temperature ranges from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 73 and 93 percent.
