West Jakarta Satpol PP deployed 105 personnel to assist the security of Cap Go Meh festival at Pancoran China Town, Jalan Pancoran, Glodok, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, Tuesday (3/3).

Head of West Jakarta Satpol PP, Herry Purnama explained the 105 personnel on standby consist of 72 personnel from Taman Sari District and 33 officers from the city level.

"Technically, they are divided into two shifts," he explained.

The first shift is at 8 AM to 2 PM with a total 31 personnel, and the second shift is at 1:30 PM to 9 PM with a total of 74 personnel.

"Apart from ensuring public order and supporting security, officers will also help smooth traffic flow," he added.

Herry emphasized that his staff on duty in the field should prioritize a wise, polite and persuasive attitude and work in synergy with other related officers.

"Personnel placement details are adjusted to the location by the field coordinator," he stated.
