"The vaccination implementation involved two animal health workers and two accompanying officers. Vaccinations were given to 34 cats and 12 dogs," she said, Monday (3/2).

She explained that this vaccination targets pets such as cats, dogs, ferrets, and monkeys with the requirements of being at least four months old, in good health, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and the owner having an ID card and domiciled in Jakarta.

"This rabies vaccination is free with easy requirements," she explained.

She hopes that this free rabies vaccination program can prevent the spread of rabies and raise public awareness of the importance of pet health. This program will continue to be implemented in stages in North Jakarta.

"People who want their pet to get vaccinated can monitor the location and schedule information via the official Instagram account of the North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency," she appealed.

One of the residents, Tika (28) admitted the program is helpful.

"I brought four pet cats. I hope this activity can be held regularly because it's very helpful," she admitted.
