The Jakarta Social Agency has once again released the Basic Needs Fulfillment (PKD) social assistance for the February 2026 period. This disbursement covers three major programs: Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ).

The funds are being channeled to recipients who successfully passed the city’s periodic data-matching process. According to the latest verification results, a total of 205,170 beneficiaries are receiving aid this month. The breakdown includes 162,056 elderly recipients (KLJ), 23,115 children (KAJ), and 19,999 persons with disabilities (KPDJ).

This PKD assistance will effectively alleviate the financial strain

Jakarta Social Agency Head, Iqbal Akbarudin, clarified that the current payout is dedicated to existing beneficiaries who have been declared eligible.

“The distribution for recurring recipients commenced on Wednesday, February 25, 2026,” he expressed, Friday (2/27).

Following the latest data-matching phase, the Jakarta government has finalized the recipient list for its 2026 social aid program. Despite the initial projection was higher, the verified number now stands at 214,572 beneficiaries.

Key Figures at a Glance:

• Existing Recipients: 205,170 individuals (down from the initial 210,881 after validation).

• New Recipients: 4,623 individuals (cleared for account setup).

Newcomers to the program are currently in the process of setting up their bank accounts and waiting for their ATM cards. This multi-step verification is designed to maintain high standards of accountability and to prevent any misallocation of aid.

He added that the Jakarta government remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding transparency and data precision throughout the social aid distribution process.

"Hope this PKD assistance will effectively alleviate the financial strain on our residents and deliver a tangible impact for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities in need across Jakarta," he concluded.
