Residents who registered online for Jakarta's Free Homecoming Program have begun undergoing data verification at the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency office on Jalan Perserikatan, Rawamangun Urban Village, Pulo Gadung Sub-district.

...registration for the Free Homecoming Program has been open online since February 22, 2026

One of the residents, Dona Nurhidayah (40) said she was pleased and appreciated the Free Homecoming program, describing it as very helpful.

"I've joined three times. I'm very happy and truly helped by this program. We no longer have to travel home by motorcycle, which is riskier on the road," she said on Thursday (2/26).

Dona plans to travel with her family to Solo, Central Java, on March 17, in line with the scheduled departure date.

She added that the online registration process was easy, as participants only needed to fill in their data through the available application.

"Thank you to the Governor for this free homecoming program. It greatly helps the public, and I hope it can continue every year," she expressed.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Harlem Simanjuntak, noted that registration for the Free Homecoming Program has been open online since February 22, 2026, through the official website mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id.

"Prospective participants must prepare administrative documents, including a Family Card (KK), a Jakarta ID card (KTP), and a vehicle registration certificate (STNK) for those requiring motorcycle transport,” he explained.

He said those attending verification had already completed the online registration process and would receive their departure tickets afterward.

"Participants must bring their original ID card and Family Card to be matched with their registration data. Participants found registering for more than one homecoming program will have their applications immediately canceled, and the decision is final," he stressed.

He added that the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency has also provided a call center service at 0895-4032-66691 for residents seeking further information about the Free Homecoming Program.

"I hope all participants follow the entire process in an orderly manner so the homecoming trip runs safely and comfortably, and everyone arrives in their hometown safely to reunite with their families," he said.

This year, the Free Homecoming Program is divided into three destination clusters.

The first cluster covers Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, and Cilacap, with registration from February 22–24, 2026.

The second cluster includes Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, and Pekalongan, with registration from February 25–27, 2026.

The third cluster covers Wonogiri, Kediri, Malang, Wonosobo, Purwokerto, Semarang, and Sidoarjo, with registration from February 28 to March 2, 2026.

Verification is also conducted by cluster: the first cluster from February 25–27, 2026; the second from February 28 to March 2, 2026; and the third from March 3–5, 2026. Participants who fail to complete verification will be considered to have withdrawn.
