The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta is in for a soak today, with weather conditions ranging from overcast to moderate rain.

"Rain in the morning," BMKG’s official website noted for the capital's early outlook, Monday (2/23).

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius

By midday, Seribu Islands is expected to stay under a blanket of clouds. However, the rest of the city—Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta—is set to take a drenching as moderate rain moves in.

As the afternoon progresses, light drizzles will continue to dampen the entire city, including Seribu Islands.

The rain is expected to taper off by tonight, leaving all six administrative regions with uniform overcast skies.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 76 to 97 percent.
