As many as 45 joint personnel controlled and arranged traders on Jalan Raya Kebayoran Lama, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta.

Head of Kebayoran Lama District, Mustopa Thohir said the enforcement was carried out humanely by issuing warnings to the traders. This measure was taken to organize the Kebayoran Lama Market area, which often appears chaotic in the morning due to traders still violating regulations.

"In the morning, when the area is busy with traffic, they are still selling. This should no longer be allowed, as it disrupts road access and causes traffic jams," he said, Wednesday (2/18).

Head of Kebayoran Lama District Satpol PP, Dian Citra explained the activity was run according to Bylaw Number 8/2007 about Public Order.

"This area should be clear at 6 AM or 6:30 AM," he explained.

In addition to exceeding the trading time limit, Dian detailed a number of violations that were found, including traders selling on the roadside and middle of the road, as well as the use of canopies that exceeded the Building Boundary Line.

"We also found several traders who threw rubbish carelessly," he added.

According to him, the control has been carried out repeatedly as it is a routine activity. The peak of the activity took place today, just before Ramadan.
