A fire that broke out at a kitchenware and catering equipment warehouse in Ragunan, South Jakarta, was successfully contained early Monday morning (2/16).
The South Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-aency received the report at 5 AM.

The blaze, which engulfed an area of approximately 200 square meters, was localized by 5:27 AM. Following a cooling-down process that began at 5:46 AM, the operation was officially concluded at 6:35 AM.
"The fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, resulted in no casualties," Asril added.
A local resident, Rayyan, reported seeing the fire originate from the rear of the warehouse while the main door was still locked. He and other neighbors attempted to force the door open before contacting authorities.
"The firefighters arrived quickly, preventing the flames from spreading to neighboring buildings," he noted.
