A fallen tree on Jalan TB Simatupang, RT 03/02, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta hit a car.

South Jakarta BPBD's Taskforce Unit Head, Sukendar said the tree fell at 12:47 PM.

"The Orange Troops, assisted by local residents and project workers around the location, immediately cleared the fallen tree that were blocking part of the road," he said, Thursday (2/12).

He added that thanks to the joint cooperation of personnel, the large tree was able to be evacuated quickly.

"The evacuation was completed at 1:30 PM. There were no fatalities in the incident," he added.

Meanwhile, Head of Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Mila Herawati admitted her side deployed 15 PPSU personnel to the scene.

"We also handled the fallen aerial cables. Regarding the removal of tree trunks, branches, and leaves, we have coordinated with the relevant agencies," she admitted.
