The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that a mixed bag of weather is on the cards for Jakarta today, with conditions ranging from overcast skies to light drizzles.

"Cloudy and rain in the morning," the BMKG official site stated, Thursday (2/12).

By midday, cloudy skies will settle over Seribu Islands and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, other regions—including Central, North, West, and South Jakarta—should prepare for a spot of rain as light showers are expected to dampen the streets.

As the afternoon rolls in, the majority of the capital will remain under a blanket of clouds. However, South Jakarta will not be out of the woods just yet, as light rain is dipredicted to persist in the area.

By nightfall, uniform cloudy conditions will take center stage across the entire city, covering every administrative district from Seribu Islands to the eastern borders.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 71 and 95 percent.
