Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung instructed the relevant ranks to expedite the process of dismantling the abandoned monorail poles on Jalan HR Rasuna Said.
Initially, he targeted the dismantling process to be completed by September with a work rhythm of one pole per day.
I asked for it to be expedited
"But after seeing the work in the field, I asked for it to be expedited," he said, Friday (2/6).
After reviewing the real conditions, Pramono requested that the dismantling process be accelerated by working on four to five poles per day.
"If necessary 4-5 poles a day and now it has been done," he added.
According to Pramono, almost all of the remaining steel pillars have been dismantled. Therefore, work is currently underway on the concrete structure, which is expected to take longer.
Pramono reiterated that the Rp 100 billion budget allocated is the total allocation for regional development, including the dismantling of monorail poles, construction of roads, pedestrian areas, parks, and so on.
"The total of Rp 100 billion is for gutters, roads, parks, pedestrian areas, and so on," he stated.
