The Jakarta Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that economic growth in 2025 increased by 5.21% compared to the previous year.
Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jakarta, Kadarmanto, said Jakarta's economic growth in 2025 is reflected in the nominal gross regional domestic product (PDRB) at current prices (ADHB) of Rp 3.9 trillion, and at constant prices (ADKH) of Rp 2.26 trillion.

Meanwhile, PDRB at current prices in 2024 was recorded at Rp 3.6 trillion, while at constant prices it was Rp 2.1 trillion.
Other contributions came from the management industry with a share of 11.13 percent, followed by financial and insurance services which contributed 10.96 percent.
From the production side, the highest growth was in the provision of accommodation and food and beverages which recorded growth of 9.33 percent, transportation and warehousing 8.69 percent, and from other service sectors around 8.46 percent.
Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest component was exports at 12.50 percent.
He added that Jakarta's economic structure in 2025 will be dominated by wholesale and retail trade, as well as car and motorcycle repairs, which will contribute around 18.12 percent.
From the expenditure side, household consumption dominates at 62.80 percent.
"Compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, Jakarta's economy in the fourth quarter of 2025 grew by around 5.71 percent (y-to-y)," he stated.
