Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung confirmed that food supplies remain secure despite the extreme weather conditions experienced in several regions in recent weeks.
He also ensured the availability of meat, which usually experiences a spike in demand during religious holidays.

It was stated by Pramono in facing the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
"Hopefully, as we welcome Chinese New Year, Ramadan, and Eid al-Fitr, food issues in Jakarta, including meat, will be resolved. So, we're already preparing for that," he stated, Tuesday (2/3).
Pramono emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government had made preparations to secure food stocks early on.
According to him, the Jakarta Provincial Government always maintains communication with other food-producing regions to maintain food supplies to Jakarta.
"I always communicate with the heads of food producing regions throughout Indonesia who supply Jakarta with food," he said.
