"Repairs were also made on Jalan Jembatan Tiga Raya, covering 65 square feet following previous maintenance, and a 32-square-foot section on Jalan Pejagalan," he expressed, Monday (2/2).
Arief explained that the road damage was driven by weather conditions and high traffic volume.
"The repairs involved a 12-person crew along with supporting machinery," he explained.
According to him, hot-mix asphalt was used to ensure the repairs are sturdy and long-lasting, providing a safer and smoother experience for motorists.
"We're committed to delivering optimal infrastructure services. Monitoring will be ongoing, and road repairs will continue in a phased approach," he explained.
He urged the public to remain vigilant when traveling through work zones and to play a proactive role by reporting any road hazards they encounter.
"Resident reports are vital in helping us act swiftly for the sake of community safety," he added.
This action received appreciation from one of the residents, Fikri (27).
"We’re looking forward to getting these roads up to par in short order. By fixing the damage and resurfacing the streets, we’re making sure every resident’s journey is safe and sound,” he stated.
