The West Jakarta City administration is set to get behind the upcoming Bandeng Festival and Cap Go Meh celebrations scheduled for February and March 2026.

West Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency, Sherly Yuliana explained that the Bandeng Festival (Bandeng Festival) will be held from February 14 to 15 on Jalan H Sulaeman in Rawa Belong.

Meanwhile, the Cap Go Meh celebration is slated for March 3 at Pancoran Chinatown Point and Mall Pecinan Glodok.

"Both events are key highlights of our strategic agenda this year," she expressed, Monday (2/2).

Meanwhile, General Affairs and Protocol Head for the West Jakarta City Secretariat, Afansi Nofrisal expressed his hope that all regional government agencies would support and ensure the success of both events.

"These two events are at the top of our agenda," he stated, though he did not elaborate on the specific forms of support to be provided.
