In order to optimize flood handling, Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama did a refreshment in Water Management Department by putting non-technically officials into officials structure.

“I put official from Public Work background into the structure,” he said during echelon II officials inauguration in City Hall, Thursday (12/3).

However, the similar effort had been conducted in Public Housing and Government Building Department. Actually this strategy is deemed quite effective to tackle trouble in both fields.

“This the first time of history,” he uttered.

Similar strategy also been applied in Cleanliness Department. At that moment, he inaugurated Isnawa Adji, Tambora Sub District Head and entrust him to lead the department. Evidently, the current condition of rivers in Jakarta now are cleaner than before.

“It’s better now,” he asserted.
