The existence of Child Safe House (RAA) in RW 03, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta, gains an appreciation from the urban village apparatus and local resident.
But the most important is, it needs residents participation for supporting the house in their area
Tugu Utara Urban Village Head, Tarmat said that he really supports the house that pioneered by Metro Jaya City Police.
"Currently, the RAA has been built in Tugu Utara, that is in RW 03 that used as reporting place when violence against children happen and next followed up by Police," he stated, Friday (10/30).
"If there is something suspicious, residents could also report it right away to local community administration office (Bimas), Sector and Resort Police," he expressed.
"But the most important is, it needs residents participation for supporting the house in their area," he added
With the house, he explained, children eventually could feel more comfortable in interacting and telling violence happen to them.
"It's for fulfilling children's rights to get security protection," he said.
